Commercial property still remains a viable investment choice. This asset class usually pays a high investment yield. This is good for investors who are income oriented. Another benefit is that yields tend to be longer so you get income security with the right corporate tenant.

However, problems can and do arise. With the change in the working landscape, there is less need for commercial property as workers are more flexible in how they chose to work. More importantly, another emerging trend is in the use of office space. Modern high-end office remains in great demand but less desirable commercial space with poor energy ratings are in limited demand
